2013 Honda CB150X Adventure Motorcycle Unveiled

Yesterday, we reported in full detail about the recently unveiled 500cc trio from Jap bike maker Honda. Now, Honda has unveiled an ‘adventure version’ of its CBR150R sportsbike. Christened the CB150X, the new bike has similar design language to that seen on the CB500X that we talked about recently. The CB150X is also closely related to the CB150R naked bike that was featured on Motoroids a couple of weeks earlier. Powering the Honda CB150X adventure bike is the same 17.6 bhp, 150cc, liquid-cooled motor that powers the other two Honda 150cc bikes. The single cylinder, DOHC engine produces a max. power output of 17.6Bhp@10,500 RPM and peak torque output of 12.66Nm@8500RPM. The power is transmitted to rear wheel via 6-speed gearbox.

The Honda CB150X has very few chances of making it to our bike market. However, we do feel that the bike might do some good to Honda India if it is launched bang on in the Bajaj Pulsar 200NS territory.
