Hyundai i20 facelift spotted in the country

We recently talked about the unveiling of the i20 facelift at the Geneva Motor Show. Now, the news is that popular website Indianautosblog has come up with undisguised images of the refreshed car being tested in India. The car in question is a Left Hand Drive and it probably means that the car maker is working on tuning the car as per Indian road conditions. It can be seen that the Korean automaker has retained the much talked about LED lights in the Indian version of this car. Under the hood of the refreshed i20 will be found the current engines – the 1.2 Kappa and 1.4 CRDI, albeit, with some revision. While the oil burner should get a new state of tune, the petrol mill gets the Variable valve timing treatment. This car being caught in India surely means that the launch of this model is not too far. Hyundai i20 is quite a bread and butter model for Indian market and has been facing some stiff competition from the recently launched Gen-2 Swift. All this surely means that Hyundai is looking forward to soon introduce the facelift in the country.
