Mahindra & Mahindra overtakes John Deere to become the largest tractor manufacturer in the world

Mahindra & Mahindra has long been associated with tractors market and the manufacturer has won a lot of acclaim for producing well sorted and value for money farming machine. The Indian manufacturer recently overtook US based John Deere, world’s largest manufacturer of agricultural equipments.

However, John Deere says that they still are the holder of the title of world’s largest tractor manufacturer when it comes to revenues. Mr Anand Mahindra said, “M&M is a marathon runner. We have been counted out so often, we have been questioned so often about whether we are biting off more than we can chew, whether we have got too much on our plate. These questions I have been encountering for the last two decades.”

As per Mr. Mahindra, the manufacturer is looking forward to take over some international firms to have a better presence in the Agriculture related services.
