Mahindra Two Wheelers have launched their new entry level commuter bike @ INR 44,190 (ex showroom, Chennai).
Christened as the Mahindra Pantero 110, the bike will be seen battling it out against the 100-110cc machines from more established players.
The Pantero 110 comes with some first in class features like a fully digital speedo console and a conveniently placed choke mechanism. The bike also boasts of the longest seat in its class and LED pilot lamps. Other than this, the bike comes with aircraft type fuel filler cap, alloy wheels and LED tail lamp.
Powering the Pantero is a MCi-5, 110cc, single cylinder engine that has been developed ‘in-house’ and boasts of ARAI tested FE figure of 79.4 kmpl. Developing 8.6PS@7500RPM, the Pantero is considerably more powerful than some 100cc contenders out there. The manufacturer claims that the Pantero can do the 0-60kmph run in 8.85 seconds and is quicker than the segment leaders from Hero Motocorp.
