The much awaited Mahindra SsangYong Rexton W has been finally launched in our rapidly growing car market. Mahindra Ssangyong will battle it out against the Toyota Fortuner and the likes.
The Mahindra Ssangyong Rexton is powered by a 2.7-liter (2696cc) DOHC common rail turbo diesel which comes in two states of tune- 165PS and 186PS. The torque output in the two engine variants is rated at 340NM and 402Nm respectively. The top of the line variant features 5-speed E-Tronic automatic transmission and all wheel drive mechanism. The base variant gets 5 speed manual ‘box and ‘Torque On Demand’ system.
