Mahindra Two Wheelers rolls out new motorcycle Pantero in 4 States

Mahindra Two Wheelers Ltd (MTWL) launched their new offering- the Mahindra Pantero in the states of Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and Maharashtra.

Speaking on the ocassion Mr. Viren Popli, Executive Vice President – Strategy and Market Development, Mahindra Two Wheelers said, “We are excited about our new motorcycles and are focused on designing truly differentiated products at our state-of-the-art R&D centre. The new Mahindra Pantero’s intelligent MCi-5 engine is smart enough to read the road and respond to your need for power and mileage on the go. Its sleek styling, best-in-class manoeuvrability, stylish digital dashboard and the longest seat in its class are sure to delight consumers”

The Mahindra Pantero, essentially an improved version of the Stallio was launched with added features as mentioned such as a fully digital speedo console , LED pilot lamps, aircraft type fuel filler cap, LED tail lamp etc. It boasts of an advanced MCi-5 (Micro Chip ignited-5 Curve) engine claimed to intelligently switch between power and economy modes on the move.

Additionally MTWL declared cumulative sales of their scooter lineup comprising of the Duro DZ, the Rodeo RZ and the Flyte. The sales figures from April 2012 to February 2013 stood at 96,153 units with overall cumulative figures of the scooters crossing the the landmark 4 lac units.
