We recently reported that the all new 2014 Hyundai i10 has been caught testing near HMIL’s Chennai plant. Now, here are spy pics of a car that was found close the camouflaged test mule of the new i10. The car in the pictures is the new Hyundai Santa Fe which will be soon launched in the fast developing Indian premium SUV market.
The new Santa Fe features Hyundai’s Storm Edge design language and has loads of street presence. Powering the India spec Santa Fe will be the same 2.2-litre 194 bhp diesel engine that powers the current car. The engine will come mated to 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions. The new car will battle it out against the Toyota Fortuner, Ssangyong Rexton and the likes.
The new Hyundai Santa Fe will be Hyundai’s first new car launch this year and might be introduces towards the middle of 2013.
