Rejoice! Diesel price to remain unchanged
Only a couple of days ago, we reported about diesel prices on their way to become INR 5 dearer. Now, in what is no less than a big relief, it Oil Minister S Jaipal Reddy has said that they will not be revising the prices for diesel, domestic LPG and kerosene in the near future. This announcement comes soon after Pranab Mukherjee had called a meeting to discuss the role of fuel price hike on inflation. This also means that the prices for major commodities of daily usage will remain unaffected for now.
