Rothe Rothe Motorsport is a German company specializing in the tuning of Volkswagen cars and the tuning firm’s tag line is “Die Turbomanufaktur”. The firm recently injected some serious dosage of steroids into a very ordinary car. What you see here is a second-generation Superb with a lowered suspension, slightly larger wheels and a heart that can be found in a properly bred sportscar.

The car’s suspension gets new Bilstein dampers and Rothe Superb rides 40 mm closer to the tarmac than the stock car. 19 inch wheels wear 235/35 Continental Extreme 3 tires. Not much structural change was required to install the front brake system of the Audi RS6 discs with a diameter of 390 mm.

Beneath the hood of this Superb lurks a six-cylinder 3.6-liter 260 bhp motor with forced induction from  a Garrett turbocharger. The engine received sharper cams, forged rods, new pistons, more balanced crankshaft, bearings and a modified intake and exhaust system.

The result? 514 hp at 7,045 rpm and electronically limited maximum torque of 600 Newton m with the engine being mated to six-speed dual clutch DSG gearbox. The power is transmitting power to all four wheels. This Superb does a hundred in 3.7 seconds can easily hit a 305 km / h. Equally impressive is the braking capability as the car stops from 100 km / h in a distance of 36.4 m.

A 80000 Euros limousine that can put a BMW M5 to shame! Not bad…
