Will the next gen Freed become Honda’s answer to fast selling Maruti Ertiga?

Only yesterday, we reported in detail about the high success achieved by the recently launched Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. With a demand like that, it won’t be wrong to predict the end of Innova’s monopoly in the Mini MPV segment. Now, following the footsteps of Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, Honda Siel cars might soon launch their version of the mini MPV. While we will soon get the Nissan Evalia and Chevrolet Enjoy, it is the Honda’s version of the MPV that we are eagerly waiting for. The 7 seater Honda, which is codename 2NH, is based on the next gen Jazz hatchback. The 2NH might be the next gen Freed MPV that is on sale abroad. Powering the car should be a 1.5 litre gasoline motor that will come from the City sedan and the vehicle will come with an option of Honda’s new 1.4 litre diesel motor.
