Never content, German tuner edo Competition continue to evolve their Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 into one of the fastest.

Announced today as the LP750, this latest example overshadows its predecessor, the LP710, with larger figures. As the name suggests, power output is 750 PS, torque 740 Nm (546 ft-lb). As a result, 0 to 100 km (62 mph) is reached in 3.1 seconds, 0 to 200 km/h (124 mph) in 9.7 seconds and the magical 300 km/h (186 mph) mark in 24.5 seconds continuing on to a top speed of 365 km/h (227 mph). edo competition claims this is the fastest Murcielago in the world.

So how did they do it? Using the base 6.5 liter V12 engine from the LP640, edo competition redesigned the air intake system with a custom fabricated air boxes with sport air filters, custom intake manifolds leading into ported and polished cylinder heads plus hotter camshafts with new tappets.  On the exhaust side edo installed sport exhaust manifolds and sport catalytic converters and mufflers - each component completely plasma-coated.  Lastly, a newly programmed engine management system makes everything sing in harmony.

To help provide stability at top speed, a new body kit with sharper edges and greater surface area has been installed in addition to a re-shaped rear spoiler with an adjustable lip.

For traction, edo chose special Michelin tires in sizes 265/35 ZR 18 front and 345/30 ZR 19 rear combined with an ultra light 18/19 inch alloy wheel set.

Not on the menu of most Lambo tuners, edo competion offers a 2-wheel-drive conversion that comes with a new single plate clutch which is necessary to compensate for the added power.  In the LP750 the RWD package saves 40 kg (88 lbs) and makes the vehicle a bit more agile.

still a buster.. ferrari 458 italia modified by oakley producing 623horses does o-60 in 3 sec's and has a top speed of over 335kmph all from just a 4.4 litre engine i.e. without turbo chargers or any other power boosters..
so imagine what this one can do with a 6.5litre engine..

Bro you again taking this in a wrong way,
Turbochargers are of different league,
these are naturally aspirated cars.

I still considered that mclaren f1 is the fastest car in the world because it doesn't carry any super/turbocharger.

Although, the video is good.

well buddy the f1 is a good car but just meant for speed.. doesen't have any luxury.. but that's not the case with veyron.. it has speed and it has luxury.. and its meant to handle all that power and keep on going for decades together..

Veyron is a piece of art bro, it just blew my mind when it is unveiled first time.
we should not carry away with the veyron's supermacy, this is murcielago thread:angel:, we will discuss veyron's capabilities somewhere else:argue:
