Good question by Razor. we are sure we should be able to raise close to 4-5K this time around as well. What should be a good thing to buy in that price range?

May be food stuff makes more sense! Remember there were old people there as well.
Food makes a lot fo sense!

These guys get food in ample quantities. I specifically asked them this question, and they said that there never is a shortage of food. Godrej also supports them on a continual basis for food. What kind of food items were you suggesting though?

Oh yeah! I forgot about the proximity with the Godrej canteen... I was referring to foodgrains and all, but yes it makes sense to avoid it.

Rest, any ideas?

can we collect some money and take them out sometime later (not now) like matheran or kashid.. arrange a van for them, we can ride with them and have a fundoo time? I am sure they wont be able to go out often and they will be really happy if we do this IMO!  just a thought! what do you guys think?

A picnic! that sounds fun!

That is a good Idea. a film like the "Rio 3d" will do wonders, as such films have a lot of Fun, and Moral Values.

yeah, movie sounds like a better and safe way to entertain them than picnic which has loads of hassles!
