I learned how to ride a motor vehile on my dad's Vijay Super, sometime in 1994, then for next few years I occasionally used my friends Kinetic Honda and my cousin't NvSpl, until I got my own NvSpl in 1997. Learned to ride motorcycle on my own Fiero in 2000.

Got started with cars by learning in Premier Padmani, in ~1995 (via a driving school) and then gained more exp by using dad's Premier Padmani later.

My uncle's friend let me drive his autorikshaw inside our compound. That helped learning handshifts required for Dad's Bajaj SuperFE.

One neighbour let me ride his IND-suzuki to get the feel of a motorcycle for first time. Friend in college offered a "chance" on CBZ. Finally Elder Bro let me ride his HH Passion and I took that on the solo rides around Mumbai quiet a few times. First owned bike for trusty Pulsar 180FTB

Cars: Have very less experience. Maruti 800 for 10 hours at driving school and Chevrolet Cobalt in USA for 20 days/1000 miles :)

First geared two wheeler was the trusty Lamby..... way back in '84
Next day... rode my first motorcycle - a Java - to the RTO to get my learner's license  :P

Since then it's been a long list of bikes.....

The first 4 wheeler that I drove was a friend's Amby, but the one that I learned on was good ol' M800  :D

60000 km old FI? May we have some comments about the ownership experience please. Smooth sailing or rough weathers?

Ind-Suzuki -> Samurai  -> Max 100 R -> Kinetic Honda -> Honda Activa

M-800 -> Camry Lx (in USA) -> Alto -> Swift Vxi

After I started driving car, my wife wanted to go to Hosur to visit her uncle. I had one problem, I am not confident on reverse.  :) I told her I should go to the destination without reversing anywhere. I was too keen on that. Unfortunately, on that day, hectic traffic on Bangalore - Hosur highway as well SH which leads through TVS factory.   :unsure: I have to take reverse in 4-5 places with lots of struggle. I sweat like anything and my wife was guiding me to take reverse. That gave me confidence in reversing. ;)

My first two wheeler that I learnt was on a Kelvinator Avanti and then a proper bike was an Enfield Fury 175(taking the keys when dad was not aware). Then graduated to RD350 HT and a RE 350(while in college).

In four wheeler, learnt driving in a Mahindra CJ and a Mahindra International tractor.Then moved on to various cars which included the likes of a contessa classic,zen(modded),marshal jeep,bolero and then a accent CRDI.
