I think the ambient lighting is responsible for the "different" looking colour, however, the front tyre does not look like the Contigo.

The 5K "landmark"

Engine is as sweet and smooth as ever. Small oil leak from the oil filter gasket. As mentioned before, the left front footpeg rubber is history, been replaced by the rubber from a TVS RTR footpeg.

The rear tyre has a slow leak. If I cannot locate it, I will first change the valve pin. Without a centre stand locating it is bound to be a bit of a PITA.

Of that 5K only about 1.5 has been  in the city.

Out of town you tend to put on the distance really fast. You're right about the money, on a long tour the fuel bill = equal to all else put together, plus some. Sadly, the poor wind protection seriously detracts from enjoying the bike at speeds over sustained distances, fabricating the headlight/front end is my priority.

I have slime-ed my Motorcycle's rear tire & it works like a charm.

Can we have few pictures of the modded CBR or we got to wait?

(I am impatient to see the real (the other) bike to be up & running)

The bike does not define you, but the actions you perform while on the bike do.

Still on the stock oil, which has already been changed thrice (once by me, once during the first service, and once when they got the filter. The oil presently in the engine has done about 1K km. I'll be running it some time before I change it to a CI4 oil.
