took a test ride again yesterday, the short gearing is crazzy.. was trying to overtake a car and in the middle of the overtaking the rev limiter kicked-in. it was scary.. think of it as a dual carriageway and while overtaking think of the rev limiter acting as a sadist! scary!
Know for a reason that it can be adjusted, but still!

Congrats...
Damn! The wait to get the RTO to move some files is excruciating...

On some other forums, a lot of guys are posting consistently 40+ kmpl FE for the initial few runs on their odo. But that's the digital console showing them the consumption. Seriously, the figure leaves me slightly skeptical about the digital readings. How accurate could this instantaneous FE reading be? A tank-full to tank-full vis-a-vis the distance covered method can give a better / reliable reading.. may be. But if the instantaneous one is any good, it definitely is damn good.
Any first hand experience on Motoroids?

Crazyyogi,
I'm a it confused here. I also have paid up the full amount and am awaiting registration.
On reading you post, I called up the PBK/KTM and they said that they do not deliver the bikes without registration numbers ("strict company orders").
Additionally, they tell me that RTO says they need another 4-5 days to register
Question to you is, how did you get your bike? jack/jugaad/pull? And is there really an issue at the RTO, or is the dealer dragging his feet?
Nostalgic thought: Those were good days when dad took care of everything till the keys were handed over

I would not read too much into FE during run-ins. Your riding style isn't normal and the FE typically tends to be very volatile.
Food for thought: Instantaneously speaking, I can run at 100kmph (with a small enough instance).

I don't know how exactly these readings are delivered... may be they are similar to how they function in cars, or may be they are different. Do you know .. if the instantaneous is really instantaneous as they show or it is calculated over a range of few kms .. and not just momentary speeds as you mentioned ..
Btw.. another 4-5 days .. hmm .. a test of your patience :-)
