PS: Ask your friend to join the FB community (India Kawasaki Ninja 650 owners) it has a few Bajaj chaps as well!

Oil filter costs Rs. 760 and chain lubing is Rs. 200   . Chain lubing should be a max of 50 bucks or so. They just put some gear oil and a thin layer of OKS chain spray. BTW, the same chain lubing costs 150/- for P220 and N250.
Labour charge was Rs 350 x 3.25 hrs.

PS:- Is it possible that i join in too? Coz i am looking forward to getting the bike early next year myself.

Interestingly CBR250s do not have ANY free services in North America, and each service is upwards of $200. Here we just pay a Rs 150 "consumable charge" (other bikes = Rs 25)

200$   , goodness gracious. The first service had nothing major to be done though apart from the panel fitting.

Actually, it does - valve shim adjustment, as everything above and to the sides of the cylinder head cover need to be removed. For an EFFICIENT mechanic, that is the good part of half an hour, then the whole thing has to be put together again. Half a day to do everything properly.

I believe, that more than Inactive, he is more proactive on the bike rather than the web.

Ran past 3 bikes at Palm Beach Road on Sunday (A Red GT650R, Green N250R and a Red CBR250R) on my way to Pune. Had this doubt that it might have been Melroy. Thought to slow down and check if its him and say Hi. But then they were riding way way too slow (maybe waiting for a trailing pack) and my beloved pillion was in a mood for some fast running.
