I had my own experience of motul 7100 on rtr 180 ABS. As anyone else, i didnt notice any difference initially. however, after around 300kms of city ride, i had a marginal difference in engine sound and gear shiftin was close to perfection. I was happy about the engine rev especially upto 80kms. However, on my long trip of 1400+kms, I was very happy about the reliability of the oil, which was still good enough to hold up the core, not requiring to replace it, whicle my friend had to change his stock TVS SS oil. However, it doesnt show much different while cruising at 90+ on my bike. I felt no difference than TVS oil at higher speeds. All in all, i suggest this is good oil for city commuters, while tourers need to rethink before choosing it.

I shall mention the Mobil1 5W50 again... Been using it since 3 years for my 220... And its brilliant... It takes a while to spread through when u do an il change... But once it does it sooo effing smooth... Costs a bomb though... 900 per litre... But with change intervals at 6000 - 8000 kms I feel its quite worth it... Oh and its fully synthetic...

Mobil 1 works well on the CBR250, ie, there is no vaporization loss even after a 4000 odd km run keeping the speed at an average of 110 - 115 kph throughout. No drop in levels and the engine performed without a hiccup. But, as pointed out, it's expensive. And the CI 4 diesels that I've used before last just as well and cost a fourth.
