Mathew, enjoy the weather. Top speed of this 1982 Yamaha Vision 550 is(was) about 176 KPH. I really enjoyed this bike, it has a beautiful V-Twin exhaust note, DOHC four-valve water cooled V-Twin five speed. Longest ride with this bike, about 2000 kilometers all around the province of Ontario, Canada.

Well, not that fortunate. At that time, the dream was to own a cycle. I started riding only after 2000.

About my CT100 clocking 105, it's speedo shows 108-110 @ max. And I have raced it with a RTR and PULSAR, just to check the meter is correct. At speeds of 50-60, it shows 5 KM over. If the RTR & Pulsar was on 50, mine shows 55. So deducted that much. @ 20-30, some 2 KM diff is there. At 108-110, the baby shivers like a leaf in the wind, an when a heavy truck came against, I almost tipped over. ha ha ha

And with Pulsar 150, I had a pillion and at full throttle, it went up to 120 and stayed there till the brake. But no more than that.

On 135, single ride, 98-100 was the max.

Unicorn was a better one, IMO. I clocked the max on it without any handling trouble.

@ silver Phantom,
Nah, use only normal fuel (sarcasm understood). But I get only 50 mileage on that. And those who rode it say it is not like a normal 100cc bike. Have more pick up and grunt. I once raced against a Fazer (new one), and won it. It was a short stint, but I was off the block faster than him. I know it is difficult to believe, bit if we ever get together for a ride, may be you will ride it and believe it.

I was  just saying hello, as I also like to tour and that this was one of the bikes that I had made a long ride on. Sorry for the confusion, I am inexperienced in joining in with replies. Rey

I believe you Bro. Coz my first real bike was the HH Sleek, which shared the same CT100 engine, and yes it was always first of the block., but as the speedoo rarely worked, (the km reader was working correctly, but the Speed needle liked to vary from Hip-Hop to Break dance from time to time ;) ), but top speed was max 90kmph for me, even the splendor that i got later had a top speed of 90kmph.
Anyways if you say so, i shall believe. :D
