Malshej is great fun, but there is little chance of going flat out on the curves, simply because the road is not dual carriageway. Malshej also tend to attract the crap of the earth on Sundays, you know, the beer guzzling dancing in the road clad in jangs type. Considering it's Sunday (Lonavla - avoid), for Pune Guys, perhaps Kambhatki ghat would be a much better place to practise corner carving, as it is a dual carriageway. Also, I'd gone to Murbad via Asangaon and the road was not in particularly great shape, even before the monsoon, dunno recent status.
Not that you wouldn't have a fun ride with the route shown, but our Kasara ride was a VERY focussed one! No scenery, no picnic, just streak over the curves, again, and again and again until the craving to rid the tyre of chicken strips was satisfied.
