The note to highlight the imperfections is very well written, and the images to highlight the perfections are very well clicked. Adventure eh :-) ..
Btw.. Vijaynagara empire has etched everything in the granite to overshadow everything .. you just witnessed it.
I have been through these pics over and over again.. and it just invites again.
I also suggest visiting Belur and Halebid, near Hassan in Karnataka.. a couple more instances of grandiose art work.. poetries in stone! And if you do visit here, Shravanabelagola is nearby
I want to revisit all these man.. thanks for refreshing the memories, once again.

Thanks Rohan...well everything was in the plan. Though I have already been to Hampi, I wanted to go there once again which was less than 150 kms away and too good to be missed. But we were very less on time...same goes for Bellur and Halebidu too. Next time for sure
