Came across this product from a friend who has been using it and swears by it.

Anyone interested in installing the same.

Can be done only on tubeless tyre which has a less than 10000KM running, and is in decent condition.

The cost depends on the tyre specification, however the cost that worked out for a Ninja250 was some 1800Rs including Nitorgen etc....

Let me know your views and ofcourse if you are interested in doing this!

There is some similar puncture sealant available with ACME tyres Goregaon, you could check with them too.

Like Ride On, there are no speed limits with that sealant either. Costs are similar. Contact : acetyrecentre@gmail.com

Contact person : Mr Tejas

For a high speed capable bike (read 150kph +), this would be good, perhaps, but for the ZMA, P220 and CBR slime is GOOD ENOUGH. No, it does not form lumps and induce wobbles, and yes it does seal punctures. Used for only about 100000km

It would be more attractive if the price were in line with UK prices - retail for 16 0z ( the CBR would require 12 for both tyres, and I guess you could do 2 R15s in that) is 15 pounds, about Rs 1200. Given that it is not being dispensed from individual bottles but a drum (lot cheaper), I fail to understand what seems to be a hefty markup.

It's a puncture sealant, you'll get the results if you run a search

satyen bhai after a google search i read that the price of ride on is 45 bucks per oz.. can you confirm this..?? If that's the case then it should cost less.. From what i can make out of doc's post i guess i would require 8oz of it (since my tire is 90 n 110 and not 120 n 140)

Correction, the cost for the Ninja650 as 1800. It comes down to 1200-1500 range for other bikes too doc!

Ride-on has a detailed list on their site specifying the amount of sealant to be used per tyre. For the CBR it is 5 and 7 oz

Slime has a formula where you calculate the requirement based on your tyre diameter and width.

At 1200 odd it is fairly reasonable, though still much more than slime. As I said, for a bike that wil travel at 150kph+ Ride-on/Ultraseal are better alternatives than slime, but for the >120kph brigade, slime is much more economical, esp if bought in quantity (say 32oz) - and as effective sealing punctures.
