Guys
Not sure how may of you would have ever faced this.
But yesterday my CBZ* 2005 had a unique breakdown.
Out of the blue the kick lever gets engaged the moment i move the bike out of
neutral. The Kick start lever starts engaging and hitting back the moment you
move out of neutral, I tried moving to second directly still the same.
Finally had to push the bike home.
Trying to understand what could be the main issue - Gear assembly, clutch
plates?

nothing to do with clutch plates whatsoever, it is probably the return spring going weak.

It was combination of return spring going bad and the "mid bearings " the ones that holds you gear assembly going bad.
Had to bring down the entire engine
