Hello people,

Had been to Raigad this Sunday, but via ropeway for a change and experience.

The ropeway is a thrilling ride- should be experienced once. Return trip was 450+ kms and the CBR gave amazing 38kpl considering riding at 100+ most of the time.

Here are a few pics from the trip:

That ropeway looks anything but inviting!
I was once scared of heights, tried para-sailing, rope ways in Singapore to get rid of the fear and did get over it too! But these pics kinda scare me :D

Thanks Rahul

@Satyen: I still have the fear, but then that fear gives me more thrills ;)

@Ricci: http://www.indiashot...samadhi-raigad/

This is Shivaji Maharaja’s dog Waghya.Very loyal. It is known as when he saw Shivaji maharaja’s body being cremated, he jumped into the burning chitaah of Shivaji Maharaj. As a result, when Lokmanya Tilak decided to build the samadhi of Shivaji Maharaj on Raigad Fort (Maharashtra)he built Waghya’s samadhi next to Shivaji’s Samadhi.
