Hello friends, i am a new owner of duke. I just did 110 kms on my bike. Theres an issue i started noticing from the very first km i started riding my bike and its nothing but, WHEN I SHIFT TO MY SECOND GEAR, THE GEAR INDICATOR DOESNT SHOW THE DIGIT 2, INSTEAD THE TERN 'GEAR' IS BLINKING, THOUGH MY BIKE IS RUNNING SMOOTHLY IN 2ND GEAR AND NO GEAR SLIPPINGS IN ANY GEARS. Can anyone tell me why it would be? Thank you. My facebook id is :

Take your bike to the nearest KTM service centre and explain the issue to them.
They have a diagnostic tool which allows them to figure out faults in the bike.

Seems like an issue with the display console or a minor issue in the ECU to me.

Nitin a.k.a. LP,

How are the light mods doing? How about giving us a brief description of how you went about it?

Since it is a post from you, it better have pics! :suspicious:

Walk into a TVS showroom and get thier cleaning lubing agent.
You can use Kerosene to clean chain too.. cheap and good! A lot of big bike manuals actually recommend cleaning with Kerosene itself!

Are you sure about kerosene? I heard it has a corrosive effect on O-ring chains...

Will dig up and update if I find anything.
