^I hated it for the same reasons but was completely bowled by it when I got a chance to see it first hand..!

One gorgeous motorcycle! Talk of attitude...this has it and with lots of grace!

As they say, beauty is in the eye of the beer holder. :P

I had said this before and saying now as well, you are the only one i have seen who doesn't like this babe..

aap to aise naraaz ho gaye jaise ki maine bola aapki biwi badsoorat hai  :P
beauty is subjective , yes, and I think even the biker junta , let aside general junta, will agree this is far from gorgeous. What people who like it, probably mean to say that it's a boldly , outragously different design - not beautiful.

If somebody gifts you one, take a couple of rides, and get rid of it before you have to do any maintenance, or have to replace anything.
yeah, that's probably what I would do if my income couldn't support the maintenance costs of my machine (it doesn't ...sadly ). Which is why I wrote, a cheaper alternative is preferable , they would suit my eye, my riding, my wallet and parking spaces too.

Doc this still looks well packed...what would you say abt the earlier generation Monsters? Maggi noodles??? ;)
The old Monsters were not bad looking at all. Not necessarily attractive, but not ugly either.

why is that ?  doesn't look like she can sit behind on that either ..don't see any pillion footpegs.
And I confess - unlike the biker junta, I never found the Ducatis to be prettier than Japanese bikes. The ones that I did like, as the 916/996/998 generation, and the ST2/4 , but in the same model years, the Japanese always have had bikes I considered better looking, and more my type of ride. heck, unlike the American magazines who pile the curses on Gixxxers, I have always liked the Gixxers since late 90s , they may not be prettiest, but they weren't ugly. Whereas some of ZX-10R and ZX-6R model years totally lost it in styling.
