^^Well nothing like coming first or second...the Red and the Orange are so closely matched to the 0-100 sprints. I wouldn't mind even if the CBR lost the drag to the equal gap the KTM did...the only thing that I kept asking myself was "Where is the 31 kg and that 184 bhp/tonne advantage the Orange has?"

Shorter gearing doesn't always mean it will be too good in acceleration..Then again the rider does matter..

Seems like a good reason for the duke owners to buy the incredible power parts which alter the gearing to reach a higher top speed...

Dislike!!

What's with everyone's fascination for top speed??? :deadhorse:
How many times (over the entire life of owning the bike) is an owner going to test it?

God help those who test it frequently on our public roads.

EDIT (After a couple of deep breaths): Nothing against you Satyen. I know you said it in jest.

Actually i Agree. It is on very few occassions that we can truly test our bikes to the hilt... A Good bike with good "Indian Standard" High Speeds, with good multi Land Form Travelability is a major requirement..

I would rather have faster pickup, than higher top speed. Given a choice.
