Well i ain't a genius to be commenting on the frameless structure..
I just know one fact which was around the late 90's (97's maybe) a guy built his bike in his shed and which was frameless and it won races in the WSBK if i ain't wrong..

Britten V1000.
But then it just wasn't about the frame or else the S1000RR couldn't have still whacked the Panigale.

The frame is something which THEY FEEL is unnecessary as again they feel it gives performance gains..
Having doors that open up will not give any performance gains.. Some might say that it gives structural rigidity but the thing is conventional doors are equally good plus if it was that good why dint they have all their cars with gull wings..??

Why don't all superbikes run on frameless setup, why not one-sided swingarm, why not a horizontally placed monoshock setup, why not a duo-lever front fork, why not desmodromic valves instead of the conventional system.
They "FEELING" is something very different- its on the road to see. Every manufacturer wants to showcase something different in their products and this is one of them. For some its useless, for the mfr its one of the USPs of the product and to most of the public its a legendary design.

Forget the fire part imagine the crash is too bad, you are upside down and you are running out of blood and time with nobody around to help you.. Now what..??

Aaaah here you go:
By explosion, I didn't mean a nuclear explosion to make the car go boom
Also does this mean that most of the cars which catch fire after a crash are ignited by some explosion? Weight of the car?? The video explains how easy it is.
In a car crash- there are many "what ifs". Have you seen crashes of cars where the doors couldn't be opened and had to be cut open by gas cutters?

Nice Video, and i loved the way they go into the various aspects of the Safety features of a Car.. Pop out Doors, that use minimal energy to push out, so even an injured individual might be able to do it..
on another note. Dont take stuff personally.. That is the feeling i was getting after reading the replies.. Yes Some peices are Showoffs, Some are Practical, And some are the best of both worlds.. Get over it...
the Crash tests are taken of Cars, in certains measurable conditions to ascertain the Manufacturers claims.. in Real life a Person can even whack a Ferrari into 2 different peices, and live to tell the tale, with minor bruises due to the Seat belt...
Form and Function are an integral part of any Automobile...

Well i was going to argue
that other manufacturers have side mounted shocks, single sided swing arm and desmodromic valves..
But the thing is this will never end
.. So why don't we end this here
where you keep your views of it being legendary while i maintain its a show off..
But the thing is this will never end
