While coming from mehasana, i spotted around 5 yamaha rays undergoing there tests, they wernt camflouged, the normal public could easily mistake them for the honda dio. They had three colours on test, pink, shining blue and maroon. they were doing good speeds, around 80-90 with relative ease. They would be a perfect fit for the ladies, though a lil cramped for the guys. The design details are very neat, cuts and creases are the order of the day. it has a twin layered speedo display, couldnot exactly get what was in the upper or the lower displays. from the look of it, i say activa would be in a spot!!!!

welcome back yamaha

Nice Captures. After testing the Vespa, I feel scooters are great for office commuting. you can keep the heavy laptop off from the shoulder on the floor board. :)

Yeah I concluded that today. From Borivli to Andheri (approx 15 kms)- a lady on a scooty was always ahead of me even with me shooting ahead on open straights. Well it was not intentional, I realised later that this lady always somehow managed to crawl ahead of me in traffic ;)

Its a well known fact that a 100 bhp bike being ridden by a guy is slower than a girl on a electric scooty. Now whether it is because of the more 'usable' power or some other social factors is completely to your own opinion.

No social factors involved here Sir ;) Its just the fear owing to some reckless riders who are like rats scampering around for holes to hide while being chased by a snake!
