Really sorry Doc and others...I have this tendency to write long and boring epics. So I forwarded to Amit for some edits, who is in Munnar right now.

No need for edits. After such a LONG delay we're expecting a 10000 word review at the very least.

Put it up.

Really good one :clap2:  but why don't you give the final verdict where does someone put his money..?

I did mention in the ending moments- where if money is not an issue then the CBR and you have frequent ups and downs on the highways. City drudge the KTM and NS both can do a great job- but I'll anyday choose the Duke over the NS. Its worth that extra 35k over the NS.

Well as for me i am looking forward to the NS as i wont be going bonkers most of the time and i will be in the city limits as well so no need of top end.. :)
Though keeping other options open as this is my last sem if i get a good job which gives me a lot of rokada then will wait for some more time for something even better to come out.. Honda 400 or HMC 400 maybe..

how many times do i tell its not a fz, its a unicorn.. Dazzler to be precise, and it is a good bike no second thoughts on that.. Actually dad is in need of a bike and though dad is using bro's zma he doesnt feel its much maneuverable in traffic so my bike will be going back..

I always found the mid corner stability of the CBR way ahead of the ZMA, and have leaned the CBR a lot more in the corners than I ever did on my ZMA, which, BTW had a hugely improved rear suspension over the stock bike.  Unfortunately, you don't seem to have the same level of comfort - but that does not mean the bike cannot do it easily, in somebody else's hands. Point number two - wind protection, though obviously better than the KTM and NS (where the designers have decided that windblast is an essential part of biking), is a lot worse in the CBR than the ZMA . If you wish you simply need to compare screen heights and angulations. The CBR is a bike which you consciously keep below 100 over long runs to avoid being slapped continuously by the wind - it's a pretty big minus on the highway!

Lastly, mentioned in the motoroids article reply (not here) , the low end torque vis a vis the ZMA - the ZMA isn't even close. The ZMA doesn't shudder when you try to pull at 2.5K rpm because ...it isn't pulling!. The CBR will be. Once it gets to 3 - 3.5K rpm, it's a no contest thereafter. Besides should anybody actually be riding at 2 and 2.5K? How's the low end torque at 3.5K on the NS and KTM, that's what rules the city, not torque at 7000rpm

Well even though i like the zma both in performance and looks (it seriously looks absolutely gorgeous in white) but i wont be going in for it, bro will be keeping it..
Its his hard earned money plus i maybe continuing here and a KA passing bike in Maharashtra means cops will always be having a smile a kilometer wide whenever they see me, so that option is out and that's why i am looking for an decent upgrade, if i get a good bike will keep it for quite a long time.. :)
The main reason i am against the KTM and Pal is the wind blast, i mean what's the use of power that is unusable better look for something else..
Lets see i may go for the CBR as well, and knowing Honda they might bring in a slightly powerful version of it too..
