Don't think too much on the viewfinder! I've noticed that the viewfinder in budget PnS cams don't give the true edges of a frame as seen on an LCD.

Sorry. The last PnS I bought was in the early 2000s, i think.
Own a DSLR (Canon 1000D) now and have no clude about PnS models on the market.

But I did depend on reviews at cnet and dpreview to buy my DSLR.
Although, I suspect you might have gone through them already.
