Guys! The dates have almost been finalised. The event will happen during Christmas holidays at MMRT (Chennai). We are looking at 50 riders from Mumbai and Pune. The event is very much on now. We are freezing the dates with the racetrack very soon. The cost per head only for the racetrack is coming to about 400 bucks.
Now lets get this discussion rolling. Tell all your friends who may be interested in a trackday about the event. Lets us know your concerns / suggestions .

what about shipping bikes?

We'll be hiring a truck for the purpose. If someone can arrange for cheap transport (If he has his own transport company), it'll be really nice.

And where is this event planned? Is it ride your own bike types?
Logistics for carting the bike there etc?

There might be rains towards the end of december.... I guess Feb mid/end would be a perfect time for the track day events.

Unfortunately the MMRT (Chennai) is packed till January, and in January we have a hell lot of stuff to take care of (Primarily Auto Expo). Seems like February is a good time. We'll book the track well in advance. just dont lose patience guys. We really think that its more important to do it 'properly' than just doing it for doing it's sake.
Coimbatore is an option too, but we have only two dates available, and both the dates are way too close to make for all the arrangements. Let us know your views / suggestions...

btw i heard that there is a dirt track opened near the mumbai-pune expressway.. dhapoli/khapoli i forgot the name
