Do you feel that activities and discussions on motoroids forum has gone down ? I have noticed that after we have got on to facebook and twitter, people logging on to forum and discussing stuff has gone down as it has become more easy to just get the news on facebook, may be i am wrong but moderators and owners of the forum have to take necessary steps to get things back on track.

Guys lets start posting pictures, experiences, querries, etc and start discussions on the forum.

Thats quite true Debang. There was a time when such Forums used to be the only platform for people to discuss and share things with like minded people. The emergence of Social netwroking sites means that there are easier and more exciting ways to share your experiences and media with people you know. It's a good and a bad thing.
Good because a big bunch of 'Yo bro, nice pic' members have shifted to spaces like FB and Orkut. Unless they have anything more to say than passing remarks preceded by 'bro' it's good they dont show up here. At least in posts
Bad because social network sites don't have any archive value. A post on a Forums will always remain there and thousands will keep extracting pleasure from a good post year after year. It's searcheable and benefits a lot of people who are actually looking for information. Loads of great travelogues and experiences are getting dissolved in the social media - never to be found again.
There has to be a clear point of differentiation if you want to  represent value in a sea of such special interest communities.  I think the Wiki on Motoroids will go a long way in addressing this problem. Still not able to figure the working of the darn thing. To make matters worse, was out of the country for the past few days, so couldnt find any time. Satyen, Debang - I can do with a little technical help in setting up the Wiki.

Yup, we all(collectively) have to make an effort for it, whining and blamimg won't help.

yes i do agree that the activities have gone down, as its been close to a week that i have seen any new activity, in fact all the news are posted on facebook faster tahn being posted on motoriods.

very true indeed! the second thing i check coming to office other than office mail is the "New Posts" here and its gone drastically down!

One reason why I always wooted for the NEWs to be posted in the site AND the forum with equal coverage.

There can be a lot of constructive comments on the forum as compared to a click on like, a 12 year old kid kinda comment and so on!

PS: If you find something interesting, try bring it here...! let motoroids be a safe vault to the nice stuff so that it wont be lost in the clutter!

what about the rides. after the first aids workshop, i havent seen any group ride from Motoroids. i go and do solo rides when i can manage, but group rides are a league of their own.
might we all crank that up a notch too.

we should do a r2g from mumbai to malshej or to another exciting route.unless there is a collective effort its not gonna work . how about if the event is planned on facebook as it is accessed more frequently by a larger group and then the more trivial details or post-ride info. can be discussed and archived on the Motoroids forum.just a suggestion for taking advantage of every platform since they are already linked up .

Yes...U r right...u can plan a ride on FB and post the post ride information here...but for important information and stuff like news, FB will keep it in highlight just for a few hours..and later, it will be almost impossible to access that piece of information...hence, for informative stuff, the forums is the best place..U can come back and knock the doors whenever you want.. =)

Saturday (31 July) is company picnic, which is pretty easy to guess what is gonna happen there- Bus Ride / Booze / Bhojan / Bus -Hic- Ride -Hic-.

Sunday (1 Aug) will probably do a small ride, probably Lonavala, (as suggested on the other thread).
