found a bug.. when i click "Mark forums read" it throws the below error

Sent you a PM but then saw this thread.

This issue has been there since the forum upgrade to version 3.8.5.

We recently upgraded our forums to the latest version of vbulletin. There's a bug in the new release and it is said to be fixed with the next one i.e 3.8.6. There's no patch at the moment as it's not a security related issue.

Have tried manually scripting out this error but it wont work. It will have to wait until vbulletin fixes this in the next build.

Need any help to resolve forum related problems, PM me!

Mr.TechGuy, how about introducing the concept of 'deleting' a post in the forums.

@Inder. Deletions are deliberately not allowed for people to be more careful while posting. One can always edit his posts if he made a mistake - sounds fair to me, let me know if there are any extra advantages for having 'deletion' enabled.

Well, to start off, why is the announcements section empty?

And why cant I upload an avatar?(and when will I be able to do that?)

Is there anything known as a membership ladder?(you gain rank as your post count increases)

And no matter in whichever thread I post, it gets listed in subscribed threads.

Is there any way to turn the subscriptions off?

Sync your ID with Facebook login and the system will automatically take your FB avatar as your Avatar pic.
AFAIK, the avatar upload option did exist.. in control panel

Auto Subscription... thats new!

Does that mean I will have to join FB just to upload my avatar?:)

Oh, and when will I become a Motoroid from a Motoroid-to-be?

Apart from post counts, there is also a reputation that you can add to anyone if you found the info useful. The reputation is also an indicator of your behaviour in general in the forum.

Auto subscriptions were not intended. Is it happening with every member, or is it only AMG? New members, please post here with their experience to help us make this a better place.
