What would be an ideal price point for this machine?
Considering it is a naked, but is a twin..

It would depend on the price point of the new +200cc Pulsars (if they are not coming, then the KTM Duke).

Lets face it, our market is not that "technologically literate" yet. Hence the only parameter used for comparison (by the overwhelming majority) will be displacement.
I like 'em Naked.

Suzuki having failed to gather mass-market popularity, should have been wise enough to at least attack the niche market, like Yamaha did. Failure to bring the right bike at the right time is costing Suzuki much market share and profit ( I'm sure they want that money, else why bother to set up shop ). Even Honda seems content to let Kawasaki walk away with the customers they could have had, typical Honda conservative thinking, let others take the first shot.

Suzuki sure did miss the bus... looks like the vstrom 650 is the next suzuki to get to India to compete with the GT and the Ninja

The Vstrom is not the bike they should be getting .....at least first. it's a fine practical bike, but for a not yet mature market where a buyer typically waits for years and buys one bike - he wants the best and the one he goes for must set his pulse racing. The Vstrom is not that sort of bike, it's a 2nd or 3rd bike for the European/American biker .

Suzuki , if you're reading this - the bike(s) to get first in that segment are the SV650 , Gladius and GSX-650 perhaps, because there will be many who prefer 4s over twins.
