MG Motor India Just revealed the first teaser of the Next-Gen Hector. The teaser is about an infotainment system and a lot of changes and new technology can be seen in it. The Hector will offer Renewed interior and an updated design.

Looking from the design perspective the new MG Hector is expected to have an updated grille and alloy wheels. LED lights for both headlights and taillights are also predicted. This new generation MG hector is expected to imitate ADAS technology Astor including adaptive cruise control, lane keeps assist, speed assist system, blind-spot detection, and forward-collision warning. Another interesting change can be seen in the Engine start/story button, the push start button can now be seen in a square shape which used to be a round shape.
The MG has conceptualized the interior of this new gen Hector as a ‘Symphony of Luxury’. With an aim to offer a cinematic and immersive experience the company has introduced India’s largest 14-inch HD Portrait Infotainment System in the Hector. The infotainment system will get online Features like wifi connectivity, inbuilt navigation, MG weather app, icall and as per the teaser, it can be seen that the new MG will have a 360° Camera. MG will come with a fully touch-sensitive screen but a few buttons are also seen from the teaser. The reprofile dashboard will come with renewed AC vents. It also comes with touch-sensitive AC controls.
Although the powertrain of Hector will continue to be the same. The engine options of this SUV are a 1.5L Turbo Petrol engine that produces 141 hp of power and 250 Nm of torque. The second is a 1.5L Petrol-Hybrid unit that also produces 141 hp of power and 250 Nm of torque and the last is a 2.0L Diesel engine that produces the most power at 167 hp and 350 Nm of torque. The next-gen Hector is supposed to be launched soon, while the deliveries are predicted to start near Diwali.
