Quick Overview

  • TVS Racing gears up for INRC 2025 with upgraded machines and global insights
  • Features a diverse rider lineup across Superbike, Super Sport, Women’s, and Scooter classes
  • First round kicks off in Nashik on May 4

TVS Racing has officially announced its squad and race-spec machines for the 2025 Indian National Rally Championship (INRC) in Nashik. With a legacy of over four decades and an 80% win rate across formats, the team is aiming to raise the bar once again.

This year’s line-up is backed by fresh international experience, purpose-built rally bikes, and a strong focus on grooming future champions. The race-prepped machines now feature performance tweaks inspired by premier global rally raids, including Dakar.

Sharper Machines, Leaner Times

TVS Racing has updated its machines across the board. The TR 450R and TR 200R models now come with a revised camshaft and cylinder head, boosting midrange and top-end performance. These updates should translate to quicker stage times and stronger acceleration out of corners.

Suspension tweaks promise improved traction and better handling across high-speed dirt sections, while ergonomic changes like revised seat and footpeg positions are designed to reduce rider fatigue on longer stages. The Ntorq SXR 125, used in the scooter category, also returns with rally-specific tuning.

Star-Studded Rider Line-Up

The 2025 team includes seasoned and emerging talent:

  • Superbike Pro-expert Group A (TR 450R): Abdul Wahid, Rajendra RE, Samuel Jacob
  • Super Sport 260 Group B (TR 200R): Imran Pasha, Banteilang Jyrwa, Sachin D
  • Women Class Group B (TR 200R): Aishwarya Pissay
  • Scooter Class up to 210cc (Ntorq SXR 125): Asif Ali, Shamim Khan, Karthik N

Many of these riders, including Aishwarya Pissay and Rajendra RE, have undergone international training stints in Dubai and Europe to fine-tune their rally skills.

Track to Road Legacy

This year also marks 20 years of the Apache brand, a byproduct of TVS Racing’s motorsport R&D. The Apache series has played a critical role in transferring racing tech to road-going machines. TVS claims over 400,000 riders are part of the Apache Owners Group, building a strong enthusiast community.

Final Thoughts

TVS Racing isn’t here to participate — they’re here to dominate. With Dakar DNA in their bikes and champions in the saddle, the 2025 INRC season could get wild real quick. Buckle up and keep an eye on those flying NTorqs — scooters are officially rally cool now.
