In addition to the sponsorship and the trophy tours, Nissan has worked on a way to bring the sport of cricket to unexpecting public, at an unexpected place. The event did not just push the sport to the masses, it did it with a surprise. On a regular morning at a park, Nissan organized a game of cricket for the joggers, and for their surprise, India’s very own, left arm pacer, Irfan Pathan appeared at the bowler’s end. Surprised park-goers took their chance against the ace bowler, later gifted with autographed merchandise by the cricketer himself.
